About the study tour

The Study Tour is an intercontinental trip organized every two years by Study Association Isaac Newton. The tour lasts three weeks and includes numerous company visits and excursions centered around a specific theme within Mechanical Engineering. In addition to the technical program, several cultural activities and excursions are organized to provide participants with a broader understanding of the host country and its culture.

Prior to the tour, a series of preparatory courses is offered, focusing on the macro- and meso-level aspects of the selected theme. These courses introduce participants to different perspectives, current developments, and innovative approaches within the field of Mechanical Engineering, providing valuable context for the excursions during the tour.
